Local audit
A local audit is used when the device has no internet and the data must reach the Tax Administration before the five-day deadline. The data is carried on a USB drive, and you upload it to the Tax Administration portal from any computer that has the internet.
You need:
- a USB drive (flash drive) with enough free space,
- access to the Tax Administration's e-fiscalization portal.
For the device to write to a USB drive, the OSFISKAL L-PFR servis service must have Full Disk Access. If the permission is missing, the device window says so. See Installation on macOS.
Step 1: transfer the data to the USB drive
- Insert the USB drive into the computer the device runs on.
- The device recognises the drive and writes the audit data by itself. In the device window, in the Dostava Poreskoj upravi (Delivery to the Tax Administration) section, you can see when the transfer started and when it finished.
- When the window shows the transfer is finished, take out the USB drive.
You can also start the transfer by hand: click Lokalno iščitavanje (Local audit) in the device window and choose the USB drive.
A folder named after the card's UID appears on the drive, for example
XB9LDN7F. It holds an Audit folder with the file ARP.bin and the audit
packages, and the file XB9LDN7F.arp with the proof of audit request.
If you take the drive out before the transfer ends, the data on it is incomplete. Insert it again and wait until the window shows the transfer is finished.
Step 2: upload the data to the portal
From a computer with the internet:
- Sign in to the Tax Administration's e-fiscalization portal.
- In the section Otpremi pakete za iščitavanje (Upload audit packages), upload the files from the folder named after the card's UID.
Step 3: download the commands
The audit on the Tax Administration's side takes some time, usually from a few minutes to an hour.
- On the portal, open Preuzmi komande (Download commands) and check whether there are pending commands for this card.
- When they appear, download them. The file is named after the card's UID,
for example
XB9LDN7F.commands. - Save the file in the root folder of the USB drive, not in a subfolder.
Step 4: run the commands on the device
- Insert the USB drive into the computer the device runs on.
- The device finds the commands file by itself and runs the commands. Among them is the proof of audit: the card resets its limit to zero and the device frees its memory.
- The device writes a results file to the USB drive, for example
XB9LDN7F.results.
You can also run the commands by hand: click Uvezi komande (Import commands) in the device window and choose the commands file on the USB drive. The results file is written to the same drive.
Step 5: confirm on the portal
- On the portal, open Otpremi status komandi (Upload command status).
- Upload the results file from the USB drive.
If you have no access to the portal, you can take the USB drive to your accountant or to a Tax Administration office, where steps 2, 3 and 5 can be done.
