Licence and activation
The device signs receipts only when it is activated. It is activated once, with an activation key from my.osfiskal.com.
Activation key
The key has 12 characters in three groups, for example ABCD-EFGH-JKLM. It
is issued in the dashboard, for the device at a point of sale.
The key is valid for seven days from issue and can be used once. If it expires before activation, issue a new one.
Activation
- Open the OSFISKAL L-PFR device window.
- Under Aktivacija (Activation), type the key.
- Click Aktiviraj (Activate).
- In the Uređaj (Device) section, the line Licenca (Licence) reads Aktiviran (Activated), and the line Licenca važi do (Licence valid until) shows a date.
Activation needs an internet connection.
Working without the internet
While it has the internet, the device checks in with the platform by itself and extends the licence. Without the internet the licence stays valid for 12 more days from the last check-in. The date is in the line Licenca važi do. When the connection is back, the licence is extended by itself.
What the licence stops, and what it does not
When the licence is not in order, the device signs no new receipts. Everything the taxpayer must do with receipts already issued keeps working: sending to the Tax Administration, internet and local audit, and the error log.

Moving to another computer
The licence is bound to the computer the device was activated on. When you move the device to another computer:
- On the old computer, check that no data is waiting to be sent to the Tax Administration, then uninstall the device.
- Install the device on the new computer.
- In the dashboard, issue a replacement key and activate the new computer.
